Request Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

The IU Bloomington Libraries will request materials from other libraries for you if we do not own what you are looking for. Any current faculty, staff, or student may use these free services.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Request any book, article, media item, and more from Interlibrary Loan and have it delivered to the IU Bloomington library of your choice. First time users first need to register. Approximate delivery time is 7-10 days.

UBorrow

UBorrow allows you to look up books, scores, and other physical items held by fifteen other Big Ten libraries, view their availability, and request exactly what you want. UBorrow delivery times are approximately one week, which is traditionally quicker than ILL, and most materials can be checked out for seventeen weeks. Learn more about UBorrow.

View, renew, download received articles or chapters, and more.
